A RARE PAIR Antique Chairs from 1630!
Authentic Renaissance Period Triangular Turner Chairs

Two Identical Triangular Turner Chairs from the Late Renaissance Period.
Beautiful, rare and in excellent condition, with a unique history. The chairs were donated as antiques in 1879 to Leicester Hospital (the oldest hospital in England) by Mr. and Mrs. French. Both chairs have plates on the back with inscriptions: "Leicester Hospital, Warwick, Ex. Britannica 13, July 1879, Bess R. French."The gouged chip-carved decorations are distinct and both chairs are in excellent condition. My grandfather purchased them in 1940 and we have finally decided to sell these rare antiques. The have been roughly appraised at 10K each; if you are an expert in the field of renaissance antiques I would love to know more and get your appraisal. Thank you.
